Waubgeshig Rice is an author and a journalist who recently became the host of UpNorth CBC. His newest novel, Moon of the Crusted Snow, a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a remote Northern Ontario First Nation, will be released in October of 2018 with ECW Press.   Rice’s other books include Legacy (2014) as well as short story collection Midnight Sweatlodge (2012). Waubgeshig is originally from Wasauksing First Nation.
